The Diverse Professional Path of Evan Kroeze
Evan Kroeze, a resident of Ludington, Michigan, has had a decade-long career spanning multiple sectors. Holding a bachelor's in group social studies and education from Grand Valley State University, Evan Kroeze attained a 3.53 GPA and was nominated as the top social studies student.
However, Mr. Kroeze's career journey began before joining campus at Harbor View Marina in Ludington, Michigan as a dockhand. There, he honed his customer service skills through boat fueling, docking, and facility maintenance, complemented by office duties such as call handling and reservation management.
While pursuing his studies, Evan Kroeze worked for the City of Ludington's parks and cemetery crew, assisting with grounds maintenance tasks and landscaping of public city parks and burial grounds. Additionally, he organized and managed the cemetery's records.
Subsequently, Mr. Kroeze transitioned into the education sector, joining Ludington Area Schools as a high school social studies teacher. Here, he developed and implemented engaging lesson plans, maintained open communication with students, parents, and school administrators, and collaborated with colleagues to enhance classroom engagement and curriculum design.
After two years, Evan Kroeze also assumed the position of varsity baseball coach in addition to teaching. He designed practice and training programs, supervised student-athletes and coaching staff, coordinated youth development initiatives such as summer camps and recreational leagues, and spearheaded fundraising efforts to support the baseball program.
